The pictures show the reality of the needy, who are struggling to survive in Uganda.
The water they drink is always dirty and the parents are worried that their children would become sick with typhoid, cholera or other waterborne diseases that are common in this area. The fathers are also afraid that their wives and daughters could be attacked or raped while they were away, especially in the evening.
Their dream is to improve the life to a better condition with the present of clean and reliable water sources. If the borehole is built, the water yield is always good and clean, and the family members would have more time for going to school and working on the farm because they could spend less time in searching of clean water. In the long term, access to water leads to food security. With less crop loss, hunger is reduced and can break the cycle of poverty.
Now, we will come again to Uganda to serve the local people. We are planning to build a borehole/waterpump as a waqaf project in Mbale, Uganda. This effort will definitely help the local community to access clean water and lighten their burden for a long run. The details of the water project as follows:
Cost : RM11,000/ unit
Total of expected beneficiaries: >2000 people
Location: Pallisa District, Mbale, Uganda
Dateline of donation collection: 6th November 2018
P/s: Please help them by contributing any amount of donation and ‘SHARE’ this campaign to others. May Allah bless all of us. Ameen.
